Our headquarters building is the Aldo Leopold Legacy Center, or Leopold Center, located at E13701 Levee Road (Rustic Road #49) about 15 minutes northeast of Baraboo, WI, and 15 minutes southeast of Wisconsin Dells.

Hours

The Leopold Center is open year-round except on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Note: This year (2016), we are also closed on Monday, Dec. 26.

Hours, mid-April through October:

Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Saturday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Hours, November through early April:

Monday to Friday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Getting to the Leopold Center

Our location at E13701 Levee Road is just west of the intersection of Schepp and Levee Roads in the rural township of Fairfield, WI. Note that Levee Road is not always marked as such; look for the brown Rustic Road markers instead (Rustic Road #49).

Although signs are posted along certain roads to help you find us, many intersections are not marked. Print a map and directions, and call us if you need help clarifying directions: 608.355.0279.
