Hours and Location

Nestled in the heart of Baraboo, Wisconsin, the land we call home today is the same land that inspired the conservation ethos of Aldo Leopold himself. Our doors are open to visitors of all ages, from near and far, eager to explore and connect with this legacy. We invite you to join us on a journey through history, understanding, and appreciation of a land ethic in action.

Facility Rentals

Meeting Spaces

We have two spaces within the Leopold Center available for group rentals:

  • Outlook Meeting Wing

    Capacity: 30 people

  • Home Range Hall

    Capacity: 30 to 80 people

Availability

We typically require at least one month’s notice to book meeting spaces. Most Saturdays are reserved for our own programming, but many weekday dates are available throughout the year in the Outlook Meeting Wing, and mid-April to early November for the Home Range Hall.

Our standard rental rates are for meetings taking place during normal, weekday business hours. The facility is not available for private events such as wedding receptions. We approve requests for professional gatherings during evening hours on a limited basis.

Interested in Booking?

If you’d like to reserve one of our spaces for your next meeting or group event, please fill out the form. One of our team members will be in touch with you as soon as possible.

Getting to the Leopold Center

Our location at E13701 Levee Road is just west of the intersection of Schepp and Levee Roads in the rural township of Fairfield, WI. Note that Levee Road is not always marked as such; look for the brown Rustic Road markers instead (Rustic Road #49).

Although signs are posted along certain roads to help you find us, many intersections are not marked. Please call us if you need help clarifying directions: 608.355.0279.

Note to in-vehicle GPS users: If you have not recently downloaded maps for your device, your GPS unit may show our building in the incorrect location. We are located just west of where Schepp Road intersects Levee Road.
