Mark Wilde was one of the longest-tenured Wall Street analysts of the Paper, Packaging & Forest Products Sectors with over three decades of experience. He was consistently recognized as one of the most respected analysts by financial and industry publications. Mark retired in 2023. He serves on the Board of Directors at Sylvamo (NYSE: SLVM) and as a Senior Advisor at McKinsey & Co.
From 2014 to 2023, Mark was a Managing Director at Bank of Montreal. Before to BMO, Mr. Wilde was an MD at Deutsche Bank and predecessor firms BT Alex Brown and Bankers Trust. He was named a Partner at Bankers Trust in 1997. Prior to joining Bankers Trust in 1988, Mark was a Senior Economist at The WEFA Group, a Philadelphia-based economics firm.
A native of Northern Michigan, Mr. Wilde graduated summa cum laude from Alma College with a BA in History and Accounting. He was a Hagley Fellow at the University of Delaware where he received a PhD in Economic History. Mark served on the Board of the Forest History Society in Durham, NC from 2002-11 and has been an Elder in the Presbyterian Church. Mark and his family reside in Princeton, NJ.
