The Leopold Education Project curriculum guide contains 20 interdisciplinary lessons to facilitate student understanding and exploration of human connections to the natural world through hands-on, inquiry-based outdoor experiences inspired by Aldo Leopold’s A Sand County Almanac. The 84-page, spiral-bound print curriculum builds skills in observation, plant and animal identification, land stewardship, natural history, writing and reflection, and environmental values. Lessons are designed primarily for middle- and high school age students, but may also easily be adapted for use with elementary age children, families, and adults. Released in November 2016.
