As Business Manager, I facilitate and support the mission of the foundation by maintaining the necessary and appropriate records, files, and processes to ensure smooth and compliant financial operations. I have been with the foundation since 1997, when I became 0.5 of the 2.5 employees at the time!
I’ve been privileged to witness the growth of the foundation in all aspects, from personnel to programs to membership to financial support. The greatest perk of working here has been the opportunity to work with the Leopold family and the amazing and dedicated Leopold Foundation staff.
My interest in the environment was born at our family cabin in the Ocala National Forest, and led me in a round-about way to a B.S. in environmental studies at Northland College in Ashland, WI.
