I grew up in Minnesota among the lakes, fishing, camping, and herping (catching amphibians) my way into the environmental field. My passion for the outdoors and people grew into a profession after achieving my Bachelors in Environmental Education and Interpretation at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. For the past six years I have been working for various non-profits in Colorado. It was an incredible experience to teach, lead, learn, and play in the awe-inspiring Rocky Mountains. Yet, I have always felt called back to the Midwest where I first found my footing as an environmental educator. I am excited to be joining the team at the Aldo Leopold Foundation as the new Education Coordinator and create connections between people and the land ethic!
