Virtual Programming Associate

I am passionate about storytelling and community engagement and am continually trying to combine the two through my work. In my role as virtual programming associate, I coordinate all virtual program offerings at the Aldo Leopold Foundation, such as our Leopold Week speaker series and virtual crane offerings, and work to foster conversation surrounding a land ethic through the programs.
In September of 2020, I joined the Leopold Foundation as an Education and Communications Fellow. My fellowship was an invaluable experience that taught me the true value in personally connecting to a piece of land. I hold bachelor degrees in English and Film Studies from Trinity College in Hartford, CT and am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Civic Media at Columbia College Chicago. I am an Illinoisian with an affinity for Wisconsin’s nature, and grew up trekking through the Northwoods while my Grandpa taught me to identify various animal tracks. I’m always excited to return to that nature and invite others to join me as I (virtually) welcome visitors to the Aldo Leopold Foundation!
