Land Stewardship Fellow
I grew up in Holland, Michigan in a home nestled in the woods along the shores of Lake Michigan where we’re famous for our tulips. I’ve always been intrigued by the natural world and how humans interact with the environment. Since I was young I’ve had the drive to protect and conserve our natural resources, and strive to educate others on how to maintain a healthy relationship with the outdoors. In pursuit of furthering my education and expanding my knowledge of ecological conservation, I moved to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I recently graduated from Northern Michigan University where I studied Biology with a concentration in Ecology and Spanish. As a Land Stewardship Fellow at the Aldo Leopold Foundation, I hope to deepen my passion for conservation and become better equipped to employ sustainable land management techniques.
