Making the Leopold Connection

The Aldo Leopold & Boldt Partnership

Aldo Leopold and generations of The Boldt Company leaders have been firm believers in experimental and innovative thinking. The path to the eventual partnership between the Aldo Leopold Foundation and Boldt Construction to build the Aldo Leopold Legacy Center in 2006 was founded in this like-minded thinking. The land ethic, and sustainability by extension, are integral to the work Boldt does on a daily basis. The ideas and theories laid out by Leopold in his seminal work, A Sand County Almanac, lay a solid foundation for understanding environmentally ethical decisions in the construction world and further the BoldThinking we all strive to achieve.

“We have the ability to set the example as it relates to sustainable initiatives and environmental stewardship.”

-Tom Boldt, CEO of The Boldt Company & former Chair of the Aldo Leopold Foundation Board of Directors
