Celebrate 70 years of A Sand County Almanac with the Aldo Leopold Foundation, UW-Madison Special Collections, and Friends of the UW-Madison Libraries! This free event will showcase Aldo Leopold: Life, Land, Legacy, the first-ever large scale exhibit of Aldo Leopold manuscripts and feature a lecture from Aldo Leopold Foundation Senior Fellow Curt Meine on the making of A Sand County Almanac.

*Can’t make this event? You can visit the exhibit January 22-May 24, 2019 at the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Department of Special Collections, on the 9th floor of Memorial Library. The exhibit explores Leopold’s life and work and includes items generously lent by the Department of Forest and Wildlife Ecology, College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. The exhibit is open to the public Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
Finding the exhibit: Located inside Memorial Library on the 9th Floor. Take the elevator to the right of the main bank of elevators to the 9th Floor.
