Celebrate spring at the Leopold Center! Assist with prairie planting outside the new Future Leaders Center, take a guided hike through our forests and prairies, visit the Leopold Shack, get a peek at the new dorm facility, and take part in hands-on activities for kids of all ages. Concessions will be provided by People Helping People. This event is free and open to the public.

In addition to the drop-in activities listed above, the following tours will be offered throughout the day:

12:30 pm | Future Leaders Center Tour
Take a brief tour of the newest addition to the Leopold Foundation campus! Learn about the green features of our newly-constructed Future Leaders Center, a residential facility for young professionals in our fellowship program and visiting guests.

1:00 pm | Leopold Shack and Farm Tour
Visit the historic Leopold Shack and Farm with one of our knowledgeable guides. Hear stories about the pioneering restoration work initiated by Leopold and his family and visit the locations that inspired the essays in A Sand County Almanac.

2:30 pm | Guided Nature Hike
Explore the Leopold Center trails while learning about the uniqueness of our property and the foundation’s efforts to continue Leopold’s legacy of land management.
