Join Oconee River Land Trust (ORLT) for an invasive species removal at the 224-acre Falling Shoals conservation easement, a beautiful property with a hardwood forest and stream that flows to the Oconee River. Participants should meet at the landowner John Pickering’s house (address listed above) and park on the street. Look for ORLT signs and a staff person guiding cars. Please bring water, snacks, and appropriate hiking shoes. Long pants tucked into socks or boots are recommended to protect against possible ticks. Please call Dan Crescenzo at 941-321-7113 for more information.
