Call for ProposalsAbout the Conference: This conference will offer new skills to develop and lead conservation and environmental education projects in your home communities. Sessions will inspire attendees with success stories of projects that creatively link individuals and their natural communities to benefit both. They will also provide participants with practical skills to take home. The conference will focus on four themes:
We encourage presenters to submit proposals that address one or more of these themes. Please choose one of two presentation lengths to best suit your needs: concurrent sessions are one hour time slots best suited to a lecture or a short activity; workshop sessions are hour and a half time slots more conducive to a longer activity, especially if it involves going outside. Proposal deadline is March 15th. A selection committee will review each proposal. Presenters will be notified by March 31st. Presenters interested in attending the conference will be offered a $50 discount on their registration fee. If you would like further information or have questions, please contact Aldo Leopold Foundation Education Coordinator Jennifer Kobylecky at (608)355-0279, ex. 27 or jennifer@aldoleopold.org.
