What is your educational and professional background? Graduated with a BS in Environmental Studies from Northland College in 1982. Have worked in non-profit community since 1990.

Where are you originally from? Cocoa, Florida (not the beach!)

What brought you to work in the environmental field? Always interested in the environment, which took me to Northland. Moved to Portage in 1988, and worked at the International Crane Foundation from 1990-1998.

How long have you worked for ALF? Since July 1998.

What is your favorite part of your job? Learning more about Leopold and his ongoing influence with today’s environmental community.

How has working for ALF changed your thinking? I’m trying to make more changes in how I live to hopefully make less of an impact on the earth.

What is your favorite Leopold quote/essay? The Alder Fork.
