Hobbs State Park—Conservation Area
The Green Fire film will make its only Ozark region-wide premiere at the Silver LEED-certified Hobbs State Park Conservation Area Visitor Center. Hobbs' mission statement of providing both educational and recreational experiences while retaining a balance of harmony and stewardship with its abundant natural resources has long echoed Leopold’s conservational ethics. Join us for a day of discovering nature through walks, nature writings, special children’s activities, readings from A Sand County Almanac, demonstrations of fly fishing, "a taste of Leopold" --dutch oven cooking, and much more as we celebrate and explore Aldo Leopold.
