April 14 - November 1:
Monday - Saturday, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
November - mid-April :
Monday - Friday, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Public guided tours of both the Leopold Shack and Farm and the Aldo Leopold Legacy Center are available mid-April through October. Additional educational opportunities are available year-round, and include guided group tours, self-guided tours of the Aldo Leopold Legacy Center, brown bag seminar presentations, Aldo Leopold Weekend events, and classes through the Woodland School-- an adult environmental education workshop series focused on land management skills and techniques. The Shack is not open for self-guided tours during the winter months due to weather. Please call ahead to check hours on days adjacent to holidays.
General Directions:
The Aldo Leopold Legacy Center is located at E13701 Levee Road, about 15 minutes northeast of Baraboo, Wisconsin. We are approximately 20 minutes away from Devil's Lake and Mirror Lake State Parks, and 10 minutes from the International Crane Foundation.
