Annual Volunteer Work Day

Saturday, September 18

Every year ALF hosts a volunteer work day at the Leopold Center on the second Saturday of September. It's your chance to get outside and do a little good work to help us out, plus have the chance to tour the center and the Leopold Shack. The work isn't glamorous, but we have a long list of choices so you can pick something you'd like to do. Bring the whole family!

Schedule:

9:00 - work project

11:00 - group reading and discussion

12:00 - lunch (provided)

1:00 - free guided tour of the Leopold Shack

3:00 - free guided tour of the Leopold Center

Work Projects:

Cutting brush

Weeding

Washing windows

Indoor projects as needed

and more!

Can't make it?

We need volunteers year-round. If you can't make it to the annual volunteer day but you still want to help us out, give us a call. We have many projects for volunteers, whether you would like to come in once or on a regular basis. For more information on volunteering, contact Gayle Blanch at gayle@aldoleopold.org or 608.355.0279 or download a volunteer application.
